The publice record office provides to explorers and citizens following services:
  • To the reading room, free of charge lending of the saved records, except of written documents younger than 30 years, written documents, which may imperil rights of living persons and except of records with their physical conditions not allowing lending..
  • Free of charge lending of the expert and regional books and magazines from its library for the study in the reading room.
  • Allows copying of the studied material in the copier, except of records older than 1900 and printed matters older than 1875. Copies of older documents are provided individually by means of a photograph.


    • Charges for copies:

  1. copies of archive material:
    A4 free pages, on one side 9,- Kè
    A4 free pages, on both sides 12,- Kè
    A4 bound, on one side 10,- Kè
    A4 bound, on both sides 13,- Kè

    A3 free pages, on one side 13,- Kè
    A3 free pages, on both sides 25,- Kè
    A3 bound, on one side 14,- Kè
    A3 bound, on both sides 28,-Kè
  2. copies of publications and newspapers, which are not a part of the archive fund:
    A4 2,- Kè
    A3 3,- Kè
  • The archive issues verified copies of saved records for the citizens' needs, which are charged in accordance with the instruction OØA MV No. AS/3-735/98 from 24/3/1998. Charges for a counterpart, transcript and photocopy:
    * Issue of a counterpart, transcript and photocopy, extract or a written information etc. from the records saved in the archive: 50,- Kè for each commenced page
    * Issue of the same as mentioned above with respect to the issue of photocopy etc. of the original created by an administrative act (decision, measure etc.): 15,- Kè for each commenced page
    * For verification of the copies mentioned above: 20,- Kè for each commenced page
  • The archive offers to make searches for explorers, who do not want or are not able to work with the archive material. These searches are charged in accordance with the instruction SAS MV No. AS/1-2025/97 from 11/6/1997:
    * simple search (from modern texts written in Czech): 260 ,- Kè for one hour of work
    * sophisticated search (from other texts): 350,- Kè for one hour of work
    * combined search (communication in a foreign language): 380,- Kè for one hour of work
